i picked up this book in 2021 because i wanted to improve my process for setting and evaluating personal goals, and it's been helpful. the book inspired me to write down my own mission statement to make my value system tangible, personal moonshots to shoot for, objectives to achieve, and key results to measure my progress. i have also blocked out time on my calendar to reflect daily and plan weekly. going forward, i still need to work on have conversations and seek feedback about my goals. these are tools that great companies like Google and the Gates Foundation use to get better everyday, so i am excited to steal a page from their book. the book also elaborates on the history of OKR and share stories of OKR being applied at different startups and companies. would recommend for anyone who wants to live a mindful and effective life.
